Who is ABI?

ABI Rehabilitation is a leading service provider for clients with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries.  We tailor individual rehabilitation programmes to clients’ physical, cognitive and spiritual needs with a strong focus on interdisciplinary teamwork and family involvement. 

We are currently looking for a casual experienced Registered Nurse to work a variety of shifts. As our service operates 24/7, hours of work will include day, evening, weekend and awake night shifts and are rostered Monday to Sunday. 

Applicants must have at least 2 years postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse and must hold a current New Zealand practicing certificate. 

You would be working in partnership with clients and their families / whānau with high cognitive and medical needs. Experience in brain injury, neurology, rehabilitation, or a similar area is ideal, but if you have solid nursing skills and wish to develop your interest in neurorehabilitation, we will provide comprehensive specialty training for you.  Working as part of a multidisciplinary team will be something you enjoy as well as working in partnership with clients and their families / whānau.

Pay range (depending on qualification and experience): Registered Nurse (RN) Band $36.43 to $51.32 per hour.
